National Executive Council (NEC)

The National Executive Council of ASSERCORN shall consist of the following officers:

• President
• Vice President
• Secretary General
• Assistant Secretary General
• Financial Secretary
• Treasurer
• Publicity Secretary
• Chairmen of Standing Committees.

The foundation officers shall be by appointment of qualified fit and proper persons. Subsequently, officers of ASSERCORN shall be elected at Annual General Meetings (AGM).

The officers shall run the day to day activities of ASSERCORN. The President shall preside at their meetings or in his absence, the Vice-President, or in the absence of both of them, one of the officers present except the Secretary General or Assistant Secretary General.

The National Executive Council shall have the power to constitute the following Standing Committee(s) and appoint their members from the membership of ASSERCORN.

• Strategic Action Plan & Fund Raising Committee
• Campaign & Publicity Committee
• Research, Education and Training Committee
• Development Committee
• Membership Committee
• Ethics Committee
• ASSERCORN "J" Club

The NEC shall have the power to appoint State Coordinators for the running of activities of the association at the State level.

State Coordinators shall organize Associate members into units of a minimum of 15 members and maximum of 50 Associates per unit.

Each unit shall be organized and managed by at least one registered member of ASSERCORN who shall be responsible to the State Coordinator.
